Based in Hong Kong, The Harbour School (THS) is a progressive international school that combines an exciting and thought-provoking curriculum with an emphasis on 21st century skills. Founded in 2007, THS was granted a school site by the Education Bureau to renovate a campus on the southside of Hong Kong Island. The Harbour School 's new Grove campus is a purpose-built child-centric space designed to optimize experiential learning. There are 5,765 m2 of facilities and features for students to learn and grow. The Grove campus includes a two-storey atrium with a tree house, 100-L aquariums and touch tanks for hands-on learning, along with a swimming pool for snorkelling and scuba diving instruction, the largest and most comprehensive makerspace in an international school in Hong Kong well-equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics and sensors, and classrooms with mobile glass walls for the creation of flexible learning spaces. THS also has a 50-foot sailboat, known as the Black Dolphin, that serves as an outdoor classroom. While the school has an American curriculum, it is adapted to ensure learning success for a very diverse international population. THS operates an inclusive admissions policy.
