School Description:

The European Azerbaijan School is a member of the Council of International Schools and the European Council of International Schools. EAS is an IBO World school authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme and is completing the last details for the Primary Years Programme after the authorization visit in November 2016. In addition our Early Learning Center program has grown greatly and now counts more than 120 children. Our first IB Diploma students will graduate in June 2017. In total, we have just over 800 students enrolled for this academic year. EAS has 26 international teachers along with 90 local teachers for the 2016-17 school year. EAS is a non profit project by TEAS and its vision is to develop a model school in an effort to bring change to the educational system in Azerbaijan. The school also provides professional development opportunities. The Board is visionary and motivated to make the kinds of changes needed. As part of TEAS vision they have also established the Azerbaijan Teacher Development Center.
